I’ve been invited to talk with Marc LG on his “Startup to Something” podscast.
Why I love podcasts ๐
I love podcast, they’re always a great way to connect with people and also to take a step back and think about what you’re doing.
About having a Twitter audience ๐
This one was super interesting, we talked about why I started to create an audience on Twitter and why I think it’s probably not the best way to do marketing. At least, only pushing tweets without repurposing them into something. Long story short: I feel like an hamster in a cage, running for traffic! The solution is obvious tho: I need to do it the other way around. Create some long form content on my blog and recycle it into tweets, threads, and into communities like Reddit or IndieHackers. That way it will compound over time and hopefully get me some traction. Easy to say, but not easy to execute. It will need some time, A LOT!
Sould I restart PipeSocial? ๐
Then, we talked about why I stopped PipeSocial. Marc was pretty surprized that it didn’t worked and that I stopped it a few months ago. I agree with him, the pain I’m trying to solve is real. I probably haven’t cracked the code yet and should iterate more on this subject. But does it worth my time? That’s the whole point!
Listen to the episode ๐
Anyways, I had a great discussion with Marc. If you want to listen to it, here is the link of the podcast episode.
